Peer Review Process

The Advances in Engineering and Information Sciences (AEIS) adheres to a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure the quality, originality, and scholarly merit of the manuscripts it considers for publication. The peer-review process at AEIS follows the steps outlined below:

A. Submission of Manuscript:

Authors submit their manuscripts through the online submission system on the AEIS website, ensuring all required files are uploaded, including the manuscript, figures, and supplementary materials. Initial Editorial Review: The editorial board conducts an initial review to assess whether the submission aligns with the journal's focus and scope and complies with the author guidelines. Manuscripts that meet the initial criteria proceed to the next stage.

B. Assignment of Reviewers:

The editorial board selects qualified reviewers with expertise relevant to the manuscript's subject matter. Reviewers are chosen based on their knowledge of the field and commitment to impartial evaluation.

C. Double-Blind Peer Review:

Reviewers conduct a thorough evaluation of the manuscript while maintaining anonymity. Authors and reviewers remain unaware of each other's identities throughout the review process to ensure an unbiased assessment.

D. Review Reports:

Reviewers provide detailed feedback on the manuscript, assessing its originality, methodology, significance, and overall quality. Review reports may include suggestions for improvement and comments on clarity and coherence.

E. Author Revision:

Authors receive the reviewers' comments and are given an opportunity to revise and improve their manuscript based on the feedback received. Second Round of Review (if necessary): Revised manuscripts may undergo a second round of review to ensure that the suggested changes have been appropriately addressed.

F. Editorial Decision:

The editor-in-chief, in consultation with the editorial board, makes a final decision on the manuscript based on the reviewers' reports, the original submission, and any revisions made by the authors. Possible decisions include acceptance, minor revisions, major revisions, or rejection.

G. Notification to Authors:

Authors are promptly notified of the editorial decision, and, if accepted, they receive instructions for the publication process. AEIS is committed to maintaining the highest standards of peer review, fostering constructive feedback, and providing authors with a fair and transparent evaluation of their work. The journal values the contributions of reviewers and authors alike, acknowledging the collaborative effort to ensure the scholarly excellence of published content.
