CALL FOR PAPERS for December 2024 Issue
We invite you to share your research through our journal, Journal of Ecosystem Science and Eco-Governance.
The December 2022 issue of JESEG provides spotlight on the diverse flora and fauna thriving in the freshwater and marine ecosystems of the Caraga Region. It also documented invasive species of grasses in the campus setting as well as the dietary preference of the Alien Invasive Anurans (Rhinella marina, Hoplobatrachus rugulosus, and Kaloula pulchra) in Butuan City, Northeastern Mindanao, Philippines. A noteworthy contribution to the issue is the comprehensive documentation of the Knowledge, Attitude, and Practices (KAP) concerning the utilization, conservation, and marketing of economically significant fish species among the local communities residing around Lake Mainit—the deepest lake in the Philippines. This research not only sheds light on the intricate relationships between communities and their aquatic resources but also serves as a crucial resource for formulating sustainable conservation and management strategies.
